welcome

We're a family vineyard growing ultra-premium, artisanal, cold-climate Syrah grapes in the lush hills of Sebastopol, California.

We’ve been doing this for over 20 years, and have contributed grapes to some of the finest wines of Sonoma.

our vineyard

We purchased the land in 1999. It had been an apple and pear orchard at some point, watched over by an old Victorian dating back to 1866. We restored the home and planted the vineyard. Then we spent the next 27 years getting to know the soil, climate and ecosystem as only people who live on their land can.

award-winning wines

The Syrah and Viognier grapes we grow here have been at the heart of numerous Gold medal, Best of Class, 90+ point Sonoma wines.

winter in the vineyard

It's dark, cold, and wet, and the vines have gone into a deep hybernation. Meanwhile, there's plenty of work to do to prepare for a successful growing season ahead...

this old house

The old victorian we call home has been standing watch over the property since just after the Civil War. It’s seen a lot of people come and go, and we naturally feel a bond with them. Fortunately, we’ve been able to learn a thing or two about their lives.
